I've never worked with the Akai 3000, but I always wanted to check it out....it looks very powerful according to the specs...
The nEw MV 8000 from Roland...Very nice...I've watched a demo on this piece and it was really nice...but then again I like Roland gear..I own several pieces myself. Like the MC 909... ( pictured below )
And if you like blinga, linga, ling.....then check out Forat.com , Where they can make your MC909 look like this....
I like the Black one...they even changed the lights...not bad...some of them are a bit over the top but...you get the idea.
