Remember ?

Me and my cousin use to run home and watch Voltron when we was young...
Remember they couldn't find the last key and the mouse had it?
( something like that...)

How about? The A team...

"Ten years ago a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they did not commit, these men promptly escaped, from maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, then maybe you can hire...THE A TEAM!!!"

I met Mr. T. in person...my dad took me to see him.
He was so nice and was just as cool as ever...I have a picture somewhere packed away that he signed to me...

Or how about? Battlestar Galactica...

Are you being served

I own the frist box set and I watch it all the time...

For the terrorist...

I seen this bumper sticker the other day. It said "If you see osama bin laden...kill him..." It just brought more bad thoughts about sept. 11...and all the people that died not to say the twin towers.

From my cold dead hand...

The price of gas.....

This is what it's coming to.....

melancholy

I always at some point in the night feel dejection...
and seem to write my best stuff...
The funny thing is sometimes I like feeling this way...
because of the music I write.

Here is a picture I found by: Murry Handler. I really like the style and simple lines as a whole, yet the piece is made about a complicated feeling to express...
Very Nice work....

Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and more.

Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, industry, justice and skill.

[Athena] was the favorite child of Zeus. She had sprung fully grown out of her father's head. Her mother was Metis, goddess of wisdom and Zeus' first wife. In fear that Metis would bear a son mightier than himself. Zeus swallowed her and she began to make a robe and helmet for her daughter. The hammering of the helmet caused Zeus great pain in the form of headaches and he cried out in agony. Skilled Hephaestus ran to his father and split his skull open and from it emerged Athena, fully grown and wearing her mother's robe and helmet. She is the virgin mother of Erichthnonius.

Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe (January 19, 1809 – October 7, 1849) was an American poet, short story writer, editor and critic and one of the leaders of the American Romantics. He is best known for his tales of the macabre and his poems, as well as being one of the early practitioners of the short story and a progenitor of Gothic fiction in the United States. Poe died at the age of 40, the cause of his death a final mystery.

Lately I've been lisening to books on cd and I own this one...it is great..
except: My only complaint is that the volume has been recorded real low.

The storys are read by Basil Rathbone (June 13, 1892 – July 21, 1967) was an English actor most famous for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes and swashbuckler film villain roles. [ Which I never really liked till I heard these recordings of him.]

and the one and only:

Vincent Leonard Price, Jr. (May 27, 1911 – October 25, 1993), born in St. Louis, Missouri, was an American film actor. He is most well remembered for his roles in a series of low-budget horror films where his distinctive voice and seriocomic attitude were well used. In such films, his tall physique and polished urbane manner made him something of an American counterpart to the older Boris Karloff.

Speaking of:
Boris Karloff (November 23, 1887 - February 2, 1969), born William Henry Pratt, was a famous actor in horror films.
My favorite is The Mummy a 1932 horror film starring Boris Karloff as an Ancient Egyptian prince, Im-Ho-Tep, whose mummy is inadvertently revived by a member of an archaeological expedition and who, using the name Ardath Bey, prowls Cairo seeking the reincarnation of the soul of his ancient lover, Princess Ankh-es-en-amon.
